Amy Winehouse Investigated for Assault

Claims singer Amy Winehouse lashed out at a theatre manager after delivering a stream of abuse at a panto are being investigated, police have confirmed.

The star is said to have disrupted a performance of Cinderella on Saturday night, heckling a cast which included TV personalities Anthea Turner and Bobby Davro.

Winehouse reportedly shocked children and parents by shouting “He’s f****** behind you” during the performance and yelling out “F****** Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me”.

Refusing to sit down, she also branded the Ugly Sisters “bitches”, according to the Sun.

She is later alleged to have physically attacked a member of staff at the theatre in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

The Sun says she launched herself at front-of-house manager, Richard Pound, allegedly pulling his hair, punching him and kicking him between the legs.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed police attended to the theatre on Saturday night.
