Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado, who were engaged on ABC’s The Bachelor, have split. Velvick confirms the breakup to Us Weekly magazine.
Velvick and Delgado were engaged on The Bachelor in 2004. They made headlines in 2007 when Delgado was arrested for assaulting Velvick. She was charged with domestic battery.
Meanwhile, season 14 of The Bachelor with Jake Pavelka is set to premiere on January 4.

That’s shows that this reality shows are a fluke or scripted in a way, How can you say you truly love somebody when both of them just knew each other for a few months and get engaged. I guess Mr. Velvick wants to be a bachelor again.
