Carrie Underwood is Engaged

Carrie Underwood has confirmed her engagement to Ottawa Senators player Mike Fisher. A rep for the American Idol champ says no wedding date has been set.

“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time,” says the rep.

Fisher, 29, also confirmed the news saying, “It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”

According to reports, the hockey star popped the question Sunday in front of friends and family.
