Just a month after she officially announced her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, it has emerged that Cameron Diaz has broken up with the baseball player.

The couple was first linked in early 2010 although Diaz did not officially admit to the on-off relationship until May this year.

“Yes, Alex is my boyfriend, it”s not a secret any more,” the actress told UK Elle magazine last month.

However, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has reported on his website Fitperez.com that the relationship has now come to an end.

“They”ve broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Hilton as saying.

Actress Cameron Diaz has sparked rumours that her relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez is back on track after they were snapped spending vacation together in Mexico.

The pair’s romance, which began earlier this year, was rumoured to be over in October but they brushed off the speculation by putting on a united front during a romantic break in Mexico, reports imdb .

Diaz was spotted enjoying a family break with A-Rod’s children, six-year-old Natasha and Ella, two.
