Although Charlie Sheen is on a media blitz, telling everyone that he wishes nothing but the best for his old show, “Two and A Half Men,” in private Sheen is having a much harder time coming to terms with the fact that the show will go on without him.

“Last night was a nightmare for Charlie,” a friend of the actor tells me. “How hard must it be watching a younger guy replace you? Not only did Ashton replace him, he did a great job in the new role and Charlie knows it.”

Sheen publicly wished the show his best on Sunday evening from the stage of the Emmy awards, but sitting down with friends last night to watch the premiere episode was a big mistake.

“When everyone was around he was having a great time, he always does,” an insider tells me. “No one is more fun to be around than Charlie — but when everyone leaves and goes home, he is left alone in that huge house without his children or real friends.”

That doesn’t sound like winning.

Embattled actor Charlie Sheen has launched a new charity venture – the star will donate proceeds from an upcoming stop on his one-man show tour to offset medical costs for a family in need.

Proceeds from the sale of merchandise at his show in San Francisco, California will benefit the family of Bryan Stow, who was left severely brain damaged after two thugs beat him up outside a San Francisco Giants baseball game in Los Angeles on 31 March.

Stow was placed in a medically-induced coma, and baseball fan Sheen has been so moved by the ongoing story of his fight for life, he felt compelled to hand over all the merchandising profits from his San Francisco show on 30 April to the Bryan Stow Fund, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The actor’s Violent Torpedo of Truth tour has been raising quite a bit of cash for good causes he supports of late – Sheen cut a cheque to the Organization for Bipolar Disorder Awareness in Canada earlier this month and also helped raise funds for disaster relief in Japan.

Charlie Sheen used to make $1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men. But since CBS pulled the plug on his hit show, Charlie’s been finding creative ways to rake it in, like his Torpedo of Truth tour and hosting parties at clubs.

Now, the actor recently got an offer to host a single-night soiree in Vegas for a cool $200,000, plus private jet travel and hotel.

But how does this compare to what other celebs are getting?

Sure, it’s not in the millions, but this is actually super high in the appearance fee world.

Snooki recently got $17,500 to attend an Arizona mogul’s Christmas party, while our own Kim Kardashian commanded $50,000 for her Vegas birthday bash two years ago.

The Situation from Jersey Shore was asking as much as a whopping $100,000 just to attend an L.A. party last year, but party planners declared that asking price way too high for the abtastic star.

It looks like Charlie is still winning in the appearance fee arena.

“Overall, that is a nice chunk of change to only show up at a club in a VIP area as special guest of the night,” celeb booker to the stars Mike Esterman tells me.

Looks like we hit a nerve with Denise Richards. After seeing our story about her staying quiet while her ex Charlie Sheen blabs on about her, the actress immediately tweeted back:

“@theawfultruth 4 the record child support is just that. Its not ‘hush’ money, I get it if I open my mouth or not. I am not paid to be quiet!”

Come on, Denise, we were just noticing that you have been uncharacteristically quiet lately, and we are curious your thoughts on Charlie’s so-called Truths! And hey, we even complimented your totally rockin’ bikini bod!

But Denise isn’t the only Sheen baby mama staying mum…

Considering how violent Brooke Mueller says Charlie has been with her in the past, the babe has kept it pretty low-pro. In fact, we are dying to hear Brooke’s side of things. (Yours, too, Denise!)

Hopefully, Brooke’s upcoming new Oxygen reality show will let us get to know her (and those adorable tots) a little better. Our TiVo is set.

But in the meantime, while both of Sheen’s exes are giving us the silent treatment (save that delicious Richards tweet), Charlie continues to blah blah blah to sold-out crowds all over the friggin’ country.

Shouldn’t there really be a Ex Torpedoes of Truth tour from the guy’s exes? Just sayin. Think about it, Denise and Brooke.

Regardless, no matter what their current mindsets are at the moment, we do have to admit we admire the gals’ fairly classy and quiet stances for the moment.

Charlie is digging his own grave just fine without any new material from his them!

And now this accusation pops up again.

Brooke Mueller, in court documents, has accused Charlie Sheen of sending an anti-semitic text message about his manager, Mark Burg. Mueller alleges that Sheen wrote, “I must execute mark b like the stoopid jew pig that he is.”

It’s a powerful accusation, and one that Sheen denies — he says that Mueller has a history of stealing his phone to send scandalous text messages, something that Burg, who says he doesn’t believe Sheen is anti-semitic, backs up.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Burg said:

Charlie’s ex publicist Stan Rosenfield is Jewish. I’m Jewish. His entertainment attorney Jake Bloom is Jewish. His litigation attorney in the Warner Brothers and CBS matter Marty Singer is Jewish. His divorce lawyer Mark Gross is Jewish. In fact, his two twin boys are Jewish.

I don’t believe Charlie Sheen to be an anti-Semite. I know there is a war between Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen at the moment and I also know that Brooke Mueller has texted me from Charlie’s phone purporting to be Charlie and has done that also to members of his family. I do not believe Charlie Sheen would ever have made such a remark.

Mueller, Sheen’s ex-wife, herself is Jewish, making his twin boys Jewish.

Last week, Charlie Sheen called “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre what he said was his real name: Chaim Levine; Lorre’s birth last name really was Levine, but he’s never been named Chaim. Some found that emphasis anti-semitic, though others point to a vanity card in which Lorre himself mused about the name.

“I have heard nothing concerning any kind of talk about financial issues between Brooke and Charlie,” Galanter said Thursday. “I don’t think any discussion about finances is true.”

Galanter has filed a motion in the Aspen, Colo. court to modify the protective order put in place after Sheen’s domestic violence arrest so his client and her husband can get together and attempt to resolve their issues. “We have a 10:30 a.m. court date in Aspen Monday morning,” he says, adding. “I am waiting for that.”

Galanter also says he has not heard the reports of Sheen and Mueller having a fight where he attacked her and shoved her so hard she hit her head on the floor. “I can’t comment on something I have not heard or know anything about,” he tells PEOPLE.
