According to sources; the original idea was just to let the relationship be over, but somewhere in between Gosselin had a change of heart.  What exactly he plans on getting out of her is really the big question.  After all, she’s already been arrested for drug possession.  Maybe ol’ Jonny boy is beginning to realize his fame and fortune is dwindling.  However, a nice court hearing could boost his ratings!

Jon recently finalized his divorce from Kate Gosselin in December, and has reportedly been seen with 25 year old Morgan Christie.  The two met while skiing in Utah.

According to a source, there was $100,000 worth of damage. In addition, a source claims the word “cheater” was carved into the bed headboard and that a butcher knife was used to slice open the mattress.

Another source adds that there was a note on the counter with a knife sticking through it with the signature of what appears to be that of ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

“Is it convenient that Hailey was just there and moved out this week?” the source says. “Everything was fine, they were friends, talking from time to time, him and Kate are cool and he has to come home to the city to this? Who else would do this? It’s sick, like a case of Fatal Attraction.”

Although it is still unclear if Glassman, 22, ransacked the apartment, she posted her frustration about her living situation with Gosselin on Twitter Friday.

“FYI That apartment everyone calls Jon’s apartment was my apartment as well,” she Twittered. “We split rent! He’s been living off my family and I.”

She also posted that her family “found out a week ago he’s been pocketing our rent money ‘n not paying the rent!”

TLC is suing Gosselin for breach of contract, saying the 32-year-old made paid and unpaid media appearances without their permission. The former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star is counter suing the network, claiming his “restrictive” contract prevents him from earning a living to support his family.

“Jon’s in pretty serious financial trouble because his plan for making money was shut down in court,” an insider tells Fox News. “He has warned his lawyers that he can’t pay them and if he doesn’t succeed against TLC, he will have no funds. He’s even gone so far as to say that if they want to be paid, they will have to sue him.”

The judge says Gosselin’s lawyers don’t plan to call witnesses.

The network wants the judge to stop Gosselin from making media appearances that it says violate his exclusive contract. TLC, which is owned by Silver Spring, Md.-based Discovery Communications, says the contract remains in force.

Gosselin says he has a right to earn a living as a media personality. He also claims in a countersuit that TLC violated Pennsylvania’s child labor laws in filming his eight children.
