Lindsay Lohan’s latest photoshoot, this time for Love Magazine, has again been inspired by Marilyn Monroe.

Lohan had earlier done something similar for the January/February 2012 issue of Playboy magazine, which gave her a chance to save her floundering career.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star has been having a troubled time as she has been jailed five times in as many years and even had to spend some time in the Betty Ford rehab clinic in 2010, the Mirror reported.

The latest photos show Lohan smoking in all her pictures and one of them has her posing with a gas stove in sexy black attire.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been served with a lawsuit by a man who believes that she played a role in the death of Osama Bin Laden.

The man named Thomas A. Green also alleges that the actress “might be a high end prostitute”.

Green, who says he is a former U.S Marine, claims that he spoke to Lohan on Facebook after she contacted him about an online business he was setting up.

TMZ.com claims to have obtained a copy of the lawsuit in which Green is attempting to sue the actress for ‘engaging in unfair business practices’, with his representative serving Lindsay with the lawsuit as she walked into her probationary hearing court on Tuesday, the Mirror reported.

In the suit, Green apparently writes that he questioned Lindsay until she revealed a conspiracy about the death of Bin Laden.

“[Thomas] set out to command [Lohan] to Twitter and stated if [Lohan] acknowledges this is an Osoma Bin Ladden op all civilians in past wrong doing will receive clemency,” the lawsuit read.

Lindsay Lohan’s mum is shopping a tell-all book, in which she opens up about her daughter’s much-publicised troubles, to publishers as the actress begins an intensive community service stint at the Los Angeles County Morgue.

Lohan checked in for her first day at the morgue on Friday morning just as news was breaking about Dina Lohan’s book deal chase.

TMZ.com, who obtained the draft prologue of the book, reports Dina plans to reveal all about Lindsay’s alleged drug and alcohol use in the memoir.

In the prologue, Dina, who has always been defensive about her daughter, opens up about the heartache the actress has caused her after falling in with the wrong crowd.

She writes: “I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) new-found lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay’s way of daily living – and it tore me up inside.”

And she also addresses criticism aimed at her for allowing her daughter to move to Hollywood at such a young age: “How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress? So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone.”

Days after Lindsay Lohan was spotted smooching Indian-origin multimillionaire hotelier Vikram Chatwal at his New York apartment, the troubled starlet is again in the news for yet another wrong reason.

Lohan is now accused of confronting Chatwal’s estranged wife Priya Sachdev at his hotel, Dream Downtown, saying with obvious scorn, “You are his wife?”.

“Lindsay had been staying at Vikram’s house and even installed her hairdresser in the baby’s room, but was told to leave before his wife arrived from India with the child a few days ago. His father Sant Singh has tried to order Lindsay out numerous times,” a source told the New York Post.

“Lindsay found out Vikram was hosting a dinner at the Dream, and turned up with a friend at the hotel’s Electric Room, waiting for him,” the source said.

The source said that was when the trouble started.

“Priya was very dignified, but Lindsay was so rude. She acted as if she’d had no idea Vikram was married, and tried to make it clear that Vikram was her friend. Others had to step in to calm things down,” the source added.

Chatwal and Indian model Sachdev, who were married at a lavish seven-day ceremony in 2006, are now separated, but have remained close for their daughter.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been asked to become the face of an anti-cheating website cheaterville.com.

Executives of the wesbite have invited the troubled actress to help them promote the project.

“I’m extending this offer not only because we are huge fans, but because we would like to help bring your image into a better light,” contactmusic.com quoted James A. MCGibney, head of Cheaterville, as saying.

The site helps suspicious boyfriends and girlfriends investigate their cheating partners.

If there’s one thing to admire about Lindsay Lohan, she isn’t lazy. While under house arrest, the 24-year-old actress has managed to violate her parole, tape a commercial and, most recently, stage an Italian Vanity Fair photo shoot.

Not a stranger to magazine covers, (oh, how they love her!) in this VF interview, Lohan is super-duper blond and, like a cooped up teenage princess, plays dress up in her LA pad.

With her grueling month-long house arrest at an end, Lohan talks about her mistakes and her future, the gun she keeps in her pink fur jacket, the fact that jail is a terrible place and her plans to get back into acting.

And while that all sounds fine and good, here’s the thing–Lohan is a number of years, and a number of rehab-stints from that fresh-face red head in ‘Mean Girls.’ If Lohan would be able to turn over a new leaf, could she really get her career back? It’s not so much of a forgive-and-forget tale, but for this party girl, the straight-and-narrow has never been her favorite road; her reinvention could prove to be an impossibly tall order.

Cynicism aside, sure, it’s possible. Like the actress said, translated from the VF article, “I want to be an actress and I’m good. You learn from your mistakes, right?”
