Madonna walked the red carpet in a star-studded premiere for her drama, “W.E.” in NYC last night, and addressed the Elton John/David Furnish feud after she won the Golden Globe for Best Song. Madonna said, “You know what, honestly, I was oblivious to it all. It was brought to my attention afterwards and I don’t… I just keep going and don’t pay no mind to things like that.”

Madge recalled her emotional moment at the Globes, saying, “I was really surprised, I have to say. I always say, ‘Don’t expect to win and if you do, you’re pleasantly surprised.’”

The elegantly dressed director is juggling her hectic schedule, preparing for the Super Bowl halftime show, in addition to working on her 12th album, dubbed, “M.D.N.A.” and promoting her film. The busy star said, “My head is spinning. By the time you interview me, I can’t think straight.”

The singer hinted at what’s in store for the halftime show, revealing, “I know what songs I’m doing, I have my guest artists, I know what I’m wearing, and I just hope I can negotiate the high heels I have to dance in.” According to a source close to “Extra,” L.M.F.A.O. could be one of the guest artists sharing the stage with Madonna.

In choosing sides for the football game of the year between the New England Patriots and the NY Giants, Madonna asserted, “It’s a tough one… I’m just focusing on my performance okay, don’t ask me to take sides!”

Madonna may be an iconic popstar but she’s also known for her taste in younger men. The 53-year-old is currently dating 24-year-old Brahim Zaibat and dated then 24-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Lutz after her split from Guy Ritchie.

And it’s that track record with younger guys that has the online dating website, Cougarlife.com offering her $300,000 to record a song and video for their site, reports RadarOnline.

The website describes itself as “the premier online dating service that pairs women in their prime with younger men and ends the double standard!”

RadarOnline obtained the offer letter sent to the pop star’s rep, which says Madonna is “without a doubt the queen of Cougars,” and as such the website is interested in forming a partnership.

The letter proposes that Madge write a song and accompanying video for the site that must be released by Valentines Day. The company also promises that if the song and video do well on the charts and online she’ll receive an extra $700,000.

Madonna’s image has taken a bit of a hit recently — she publicly dissed a bouquet of hydrangeas given to her by a fan at the Venice Film Festival and a video of the incident quickly went viral online. Perhaps more surprising than the outburst, was the statement her rep released regarding the incident:

“She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world,” her rep said (via CNN). “No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.”

That type of behavior isn’t helping the one-time Queen of Pop, who is being sued by her neighbor, recently dissed Lady Gaga, and has human right’s groups irritated with her choice to thank Nazi sympathizers, John Galliano and Leni Riefenstahl, in the credits of her film “W.E.”

According to The Daily, Abraham Foxman, the national director of The Anti-Defamation League said they were surprised with the lack of sensitivity by Madonna or her people.

“The fact that she practices Kabbalah or whatever does not make her an instant expert on history, Jewish history, or sensitivity,” he told the paper, adding that she should simply remove the offending names from the credits to correct the problem.

With negative publicity bubbling, perhaps bringing couples together via the dating site could do her image some good.

Madonna might face legal action from her adopted Malawian daughter’s family, after they claimed the singer broke her promise to let them see the little girl.

Madonna, 52, is said to have guaranteed them regular contact with Mercy James, 5, after she adopted the tot from an orphanage in June 2009.

But they have not seen her since, even though Madonna has made two return visits to Malawi with the little girl.

Now they have enlisted the help of the country’s leading civil rights group CILIC to prepare a legal case.

The child, whose 16-year-old mother died five days after giving birth, was raised by her grandmother and uncles, but placed in the care of the Kondanani Children’s Village when they could no longer look after her.

“Mercy’s family have met me several times over the past year and they have been very upset,” the Daily Mail quoted Emmie Chanika, director of CILIC, as saying.

“They have a strong recollection of being told that they would be able to see Mercy and have regular contact with her – and that when she is an adult she will return to live with them in Malawi.

“I believe they have a case in law because there appears to have been a verbal contract between them and Madonna’s representatives.

“I have already consulted a lawyer on their behalf. Obviously there could be problems as there is no written agreement, but the lawyer is looking into it.

“I am preparing a letter which will appeal to Madonna’s lawyer Alan Chinula to intervene on the family’s behalf and ask Madonna to kindly let Mercy meet her family.

“None of us desires an embarrassing and expensive court case which could humiliate or inconvenience Madonna. The best outcome would be a proper agreement to let Mercy meet her family on a regular basis,” Chanika added.

Madonna, who’s been divorced twice, is going to be on “The Marriage Ref.”

Madonna’s spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg confirmed Saturday that Madonna would make an appearance on the upcoming reality show, where celebrities and a referee try to help couples in conflict. The episode has not yet been taped and Rosenberg did not have further details.

Madonna has been married twice, once to Sean Penn and most recently to Guy Ritchie.

The “Marriage Ref” will debut on NBC after the Olympics.

An insider told the Daily Star that Clooney was set up on the date by a mutual friend.

However, the source alleged that the evening was a disaster because of Madonna’s jokes.

“He figured she is a smart, accomplished woman, so why not give it a try?” the insider explained. “They went out for dinner in New York but it turned out really bad. She kept trying to make jokes that weren’t at all funny the entire time and didn’t want to have a real conversation. He couldn’t wait to get out of there.”
