While no reasoning was disclosed, a friend of Budig just said both Budig and Guiney grew apart and weren’t really the same individuals they were before.  However, it sounds like there have been issues for awhile because Guiney has already been seen with another woman in public.

While Bob Guiney became famous from the benefit of reality television, Rebecca Budig has been in homes for many years as Greenlee Smythe on “All My Children.”  Suspicions first grew when Budig was spotted at a Televisions Critics Association event without her ring.  Initially she said she was running late and forgot it, but it’s safe to say she was hiding the inevitable.
