Robert Pattinson didn’t attend the Emmys, but he made a surprise appearance at an A-list afterparty.

While Kristen Stewart has been busy sitting front row at Fashion Week in London, Rob took the solo opportunity to hit Jimmy Fallon’s Emmy bash last night in Hollywood.

Most VIP guests—Lea Michele, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Minka Kelly—came straight from the show and were dressed to the nines.

But not R.Pattz:

“He was wearing a baseball cap and street clothes hanging at the bar,” a guest tells me. “No one even noticed he was there!”

Rob spent most of his night chatting with an older gentleman and managed to avoid the cameras.

Other partygoers were eager to get into more comfortable attire too, and hit up the Havaianas flip flops station, which Jimmy personally requested.

Emily Blunt, Drew Barrymore and Kristen Wiig also made custom sandals and ditched their heels so they could dance the night away.

Also in attendance for the star-studded soiree at Trousdale: John Stamos, Adrian Grenier, Andy Samberg, Melissa McCarthy, Julie Bowen and Jon Hamm.

Once co-stars (and quite tragically so) in the “Harry Potter” series, Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t envy his former Hogwarts classmate Robert Pattinson.

While Radcliffe just finished starring in the biggest film franchise of all time, he told Access Hollywood, as picked up by The Hollywood Reporter, that his gradual introduction to fame made life a lot easier for him, which wasn’t the case for Pattinson.

“I think he’s had to do with kind of a lot more,” he said. “I had a very gradual easing in to the idea of fame, because I was doing the first two films back to back almost. So, while the whole ‘Potter’ film franchise was exploding, I was in studios filming and kind of unaware that this thing was going massive outside. Where as Rob, [he] was suddenly the most famous guy in the world. I think that’s a lot harder to deal with.”

There’s also the matter of how their characters are portrayed, as well as the public’s perception of the actors themselves. Radcliffe’s Harry Potter is a boy wizard, steely and determined, but dressed in scarves and long black robes, not to mention his iconic rounded glasses. His love life in the books and film series is a late addition, and generally takes a backseat to the main action, which involves saving the entire world.

Meanwhile, Pattinson’s Edward Cullen is described in the books as an adonis, a smoldering romantic of a vampire who is both sexily complicated and wildly devout to his virginal teen girlfriend. In short, the perfect man, undead or not. The entire series is predicated on their love and his willingness to take on all obstacles to defend her; in the end, all of his problems come from this undying love.

As for the actors themselves, the public watched Radcliffe grow up on screen, going from a 10-year old child to the 20-year old man he is today. In many ways it casts him like a friend or brother, more than sex symbol. Meanwhile, Pattinson was sprung onto world fully grown, and his secretive relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart was the total wish fulfillment of everyone who wanted to believe in the movie — or gawk at two beautiful people.

With Radcliffe now done with Potter and starring on Broadway, and Pattinson wrapping up his saga in the next year and branching out his film career, it will be interesting to see which young Brit has more staying power — both in show business, and the tabloids.

Kristen Stewart “can’t stand” being called “hot”.

The ‘Twilight’ actress – who was voted sixth sexiest woman in the world in an FHM magazine poll last year – hates it when people praise her for her appearance, insisting she doesn’t feel as attractive as she is perceived to be.

When asked how she feels about being called “hot,” Kristen replied: “I can’t stand that. What does that even mean? I don’t feel hot.”

The actress – who is dating her ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star Robert Pattinson -gets self conscious of people when she is out in public, although she admits she would do the same if she saw a celebrity in the street.

She told Closer magazine: “I have to pick and choose where I’m going. I have can become very reclusive. Sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, I can’t deal with anything right now, I can’t see anybody.’

“I know what I’m like, and if I knew that an actor was nearby, I’d be interested.

“I’m a people watcher and I’d definitely choose that person to watch. It’s human nature to look at others and everyone is the same. So for a while I was definitely a bit self conscious.

Robert Pattinson is a guy who isn’t used to hearing “no.”

The Twilight hunk has been popping out films left and right because, let’s face it, casting his oft-scruffy mug is a guarantee that tweens will get in a tizzy no what matter what the par-tick flick is. Remember that total downer Remember Me?

Yup, R.Pattz is pretty much unstoppable. But apparently messy hair, a swoon-worthy accent and a mega-million franchise will only get you so far.

‘Cause R. recently lost his dream role to another young hunk:

So who was able to trump the seemingly invincible vamp?

Uh, Gossip Girl star and former Blake Lively BF Penn Badgley.

What is this madness?! In what possible universe does the CW soap trump Twilight?

The iconic role in question is that of the late singer Jeff Buckley in the upcoming biopic. And to add insult to injury, Rob apparently really wanted it too. So much so that he paid a personal visit to Buckley’s mother and an exec producer on the film, Mary Guibert.

And while R.P.’s schmooze work left Ms. Guibert to singin’ his praises, it wasn’t enough.

Seeing as the part called for a guy who could carry a tune, you’d think Rob would have been a shoo-in. But it turns out that Penn has been hiding some serious pipes as well as his ability to play piano!

Why have you been keeping your musical talents in the dark, P.? Many an opportunity for Dan to serenade Serena has been wasted. Or, ya know, an interesting duet with Hilary Duff pre or post that infamously icky threesome.

Maybe that could have boosted GG’s dwindling ratings.

In all fairness, if they’re going for authenticity, we suppose Penn’s handsome features do bear more of a resemblance to the late singer and his voice is more Buckley-esque than Pattz’s.

Not to mention, out of the three reported finalists for the role, including Rob and James Franco, P.B. is relatively the most unknown—and probably comes with the cheapest price tag.

And Penn could surely use this film to springboard his career away from the sinking ship that is the Upper East Side.

Just like Blake and Leighton have been doing!

Whatever, you better be fan-freaking-tastic Mr. Badgley, or you’ll have to deal with a few pissed off Pattinson fans.

Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson has a shameful secret – he can’t stop hoarding clothes.

The British actor has accumulated stacks of clothing he never wears but he refuses to donate the unworn garments to pals, preferring to rent out storage spaces to house his outfits.

He tells the Daily Record, “I’m a hoarder. I gave away all my furniture from (when I lived in) Baton Rouge but with books and things, I have storage spaces all over the world.

“It’s ridiculous. Clothes – I cannot give away clothes. I don’t know why. I wear the same thing every day and I just have piles and piles and piles of clothes and then every two years, I’ll go to the storage space and kind of see what I can give away.

“I give away like three things, search through everything and then pack it all back up and put it in the storage space.”

‘Twilight’ stars Robert Pattinson and girlfriend Kristen Stewart are reportedly considering a secret wedding this summer.

The 24-year-old British actor proposed to Stewart in the New Year and the couple are now planning to tie the knot soon, reported a website.

“Robert Pattinson quietly proposed when they spent a couple of days on the Isle of Wight over New Year.

“They don’t want to announce anything until they’ve finished filming the last Twilight film, but they’ve already contacted a wedding planner in California and are looking to have a small, intimate ceremony in Napa Valley,” said a source.

“They love the beauty of the area and are totally up for a hippie, earthy vibe. There’s no way they’d have a silver-plated blowout affair.”

The pair, who have never confirmed their relationship despite being spotted together on several occasions, is currently busy filming the second part of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’.
