Miley Cyrus has criticised ‘Friday’ singer and Youtube sensation Rebecca Black.
In an interview with Australia’s Daily Telegraph, the former Hannah Montana actress said that online stars like Black should have to work harder for their success.
“It should be harder to be an artist,” Cyrus said when asked about Black’s success.
The 18-year-old added: “You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go on tour.”
Cyrus also explained why she does not interact with fans using social media.
“I do not tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it,” she continued.
“I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical.”
the only reason she is saying this is so she wont have competition. and another thing, she shouldnt be talking the only reason that she even got the part on hannah montana is because her father wrote the script! and thats how she got popular, the only reason. her “party in the usa” song her voice is so syncronized it doesnt sound like her. so…she. should. not. be. talking!
