Nick Jonas has a New Band

Nick Jonas has opened up to People magazine about his upcoming album and tour with his new band. The 17-year-old insists the band, Nick Jonas and The Administration, will not interfere with his part in the Jonas Brothers.

“This is something that can definitely co-exist with the Jonas brothers,” he says.

Jonas also insists his brothers and bandmates – Joe Jonas, 19, and Kevin Jonas, 21 – support his solo venture. “My brothers are my biggest supports. They have told me they’re looking forward to coming to the shows. They want to sit in the audience and see it from that perspective,” he says.

Nick Jonas and the Administration, which includes Michael Bland, Tommy Barbarella, David Ryan Harris and Sonny Thompson, kick off a 14-city tour on January 2. Their debut album, Who I Am, is due out February 2.
