Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift Split

“New Moon” actor Taylor Lautner and country sensation Taylor Swift have reportedly split, according to UsMagazine.com.

“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift told UsMagazine.com. “There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the same-name duo, who met on the set of their movie “Valentine’s Day” (out Feb. 12th) in October. But their three-month fling was not meant to be.

“He liked her more than she liked him,” said the source. “He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”

This break up seems to be going much better than Swift’s split from singer Joe Jonas, who dumped her via a 27-second phone call in 2008, prompting the seemingly sweet Swift to skewer him in her song “Forever and Always.”
